Mandira uses a variety of fabrics like silk, crepe, satin, tussar, blends, jamavar, georgette, zari and tissue and creates designs that suit the millennium-working woman. The designer's first break in the fashion industry was with Rina Dhaka in the year 1999 and Wirk describes it as a great learning experience.
