Louis Antoine Smith (born 22 April ) is a retired English artistic gymnast.
He received a bronze medal and two silver medals on the pommel horse at the Beijing Olympics, London Olympics and the Rio Olympics respectively,[2][3] with the former marking the first time a British gymnast had placed in an Olympic event since [4] He fell just short of gold in , tying with Kristian Berki, but taking silver for a lower E or execution score.
He followed this up with a second consecutive silver medal on the pommel horse at the Rio Olympics, this time finishing behind teammate, and bronze medalist, Max Whitlock.[5]
Smith was also part of the Great Britain team that took the bronze in the men's artistic team all-around at the London Olympics.
He was the first British gymnast to win Olympic medals in three separate Games, and only the second gymnast after Marius Urzică to win three successive O
